Teacher capability and student motivation determine learning achievement in elementary schools in North Barito Regency
Abstract

Teacher plays a major role in the teaching and learning process, and determine the success of students. Therefore, teachers need to increase their competence in carrying out the teaching and learning activities, take a more intense approach to students who are still considered to need guidance in understanding material that is considered difficult. These teacher factors must be accompanied by student performance, which is reflected in achievement. Learning is more emphasized in the process of activities and the learning process is more emphasized in the learning outcomes achieved by students. Therefore, learning achievement is an actual ability that can be measured and is in the form of mastery of knowledge, attitudes, skills, and values achieved by students as a result of the teaching and learning process at school.
