Role of teacher in the enforcement of rules for junior high schools
Abstract

The focus of this study is the forms of efforts to raise legal awareness for students in Indonesia through the provision of civics lessons in schools. The provision of civic subjects is a compulsory curriculum in every junior high school throughout Indonesia. It is the need for school rules and their enforcement, which are fostered by educators. The school rules are written rules formally made by the authorities with certain considerations that are following the situation and conditions of the school and contain things that are required and prohibited for students while they are in the school environment. In addition to providing knowledge about the scope of civic education, teachers can also shape values and norms of legal awareness in the inner minds of students. Thus, the learning outcomes are not only about students understanding citizenship but also being able to interpret their existence as part of the state, and especially legal awareness as a part of personal life which also helps shape students' behavior and future.
