Research Articles

Research articles employing qualitative, quantitative, mixed-method, and single-subject methodologies are welcome in the following areas:

  • Sports Informatics and Technology: e-Sports, Sports Engineering, Sports Technology, Artificial Intelligence in Sports
  • Sports Management: Event Management and Organization, Sports Economics, Sports Law, Sports Business Administration, Sports Marketing, Sports Management and Policy

Submitted manuscripts in these domains must be highly scientific and contribute to the field.
JACTASS particularly encourages submissions that present applicable recommendations supported by high-quality practices. A strong link between theory, policy, and practice is expected in all submitted manuscripts.

Critical Review Articles

Critical review articles should aim to bridge the gap between theory and practice, serving as informative resources for educators, practitioners, and policymakers.
JACTASS welcomes submissions that critically integrate practical applications with actionable recommendations. Manuscripts must clearly demonstrate a strong and cohesive connection among theory, policy, and practice.
