Article Processing Charge Policy
In accordance with the decision made by the Council of Higher Education (YOK) on March 7, 2019, the article processing charge is collected at the time of manuscript submission.
The relevant decision by YOK is as follows:
The following types of journals may be used in associate professorship applications (as declared in the official submission form):
- Journals that collect fees at the time of submission, regardless of acceptance or rejection
- Journals that operate under a subscription model but request a fee to make an article open access
- Journals that do not charge any fee during the publication process
NOTE 1: As Acta Scientiae et Intellectus (ASI) charges a fee regardless of the acceptance or rejection of the manuscript, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
NOTE 2: Authors may withdraw their manuscripts free of charge within one week from the date of initial submission. However, withdrawals will not be accepted once the peer-review process has begun or has been completed.
NOTE 3: Payment of the article processing fee does not guarantee acceptance or publication. Authors must take this into account before submitting their work.
NOTE 4: Manuscripts for which the APC has not been paid will not be processed under any circumstances.

Important Note: When making the payment, the corresponding author's full name, manuscript number, and the phrase "typesetting and layout fee" must be clearly stated in the payment description.
